Maggie MacDonald

Position: Facilitator Ladysmith
Group: Staff

Maggie, a "maritime girl first and always", came to the Cowichan Valley seven years ago. She brings to us fifteen years of caregiving experience.

With Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education, Maggie taught elementary and high school, and Special Ed. She was also the district manager for World Book Encyclopedia, and a camp director for children of parents without partners. She found this experience to be very helpful in fine-tuning her understanding of family dynamics and skills in working with families.

Maggie shares a loving relationship with her seven grown children and their families. The centre of her life today is her handsome Scottish Collie, Sky.

Maggie enjoys reading and entertaining and anyone experiencing her generous hospitality is likely to feel loved and nurtured. Those who have had the pleasure of knowing Maggie have found their lives enriched. Her love is genuine and open; prayer and meditation guide her in her daily journey and as a facilitator.
